Based on a gold-plated gear train developed in the manufactory, the clockmakers realized their vision of a reliable, low-maintenance and durable table clock movement. A mechanical spring force compensation system using a fusee and steel cable provides a remedy when the driving force stored in a mainspring continuously decreases over the power reserve of 15 days. A complex process that also makes the table clock Opera a particularly valuable timepiece in technical terms. A clock equipped in this way meets all the requirements of traditional clockmaking. It is classic and discreet, unobtrusive and yet the highlight of the room.

For centuries, console clocks, mantel clocks and bracket clocks have been an integral part of sophisticated, tasteful interiors. The external design depended on the style of the period and the intended use, with either decorative or functional aspects dominating. In the Renaissance, table clocks were characterized by numerous calendar and other astronomical indications in addition to the hands for hours and minutes.

We provide a 15-year warranty on every Erwin Sattler clock and deliver it at your desired time. Delivered personally to your home in our own vehicles, including installation and commissioning.

With the clock you acquire a free in-house customer service in which we personally collect the clock from your home in the event of a repair or other service work and have it repaired or serviced by the respective manufacturer.
