Hermle clocks – precision and watchmaking craftsmanship from the Swabian Alb
Craftsmanship and precision “Made in Germany”
Hermle Uhren is based in the Swabian Alb, a region that has always been known as a home for inventors and innovators. Many internationally significant companies have been founded here in south-western Germany. Hermle continues this tradition and has stood for maximum precision, quality and reliability in the manufacture of clocks and clock movements for decades.
At its Reichenbach am Heuberg site, Hermle manufactures a wide range of precision turned parts, including gear wheels and pinions, which are used in a variety of industries. The company enjoys an excellent reputation, particularly for delicate small and micro parts – whether in automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, medical technology, pneumatics, the furniture industry or aviation.
Consistently high quality, on-time production and compliance with the strictest standards are central features of Hermle’s corporate philosophy. These values have made the brand a sought-after partner in Germany and worldwide.
Traditional art of clockmaking and modern home clocks
The roots of clockmaking lie in the Swabian Alb and the neighbouring Black Forest – a region that gave rise to the world-famous German watch industry. Today, Hermle Uhren is one of the last active manufacturers of traditional and modern clocks for the home.
Most of the clock parts are manufactured in-house and are entirely made in Germany. The result is timepieces that combine precision, durability and aesthetic design – an expression of genuine German engineering and craftsmanship perfection.
