Description

Opus Secunda M 130

The uniform swinging of the pendulum in the rhythm of the seconds and the discreet ticking of this high-precision timepiece convey a sublime sense of calm. Elegant and flat, like a painting on the wall, the new wall clock Opus Secunda M 130. Despite its complex inner workings, it only adds a discreet 12 centimetres to the wall. The manufacture caliber 1736 from Erwin Sattler is the thinnest precision clock movement thanks to the first-time application of technical refinements. Each movement is engraved with an individual number.

EXTRA-FLAT PRECISION PENDULUM CLOCK

The anti-reflective mineral crystal allows a completely unobstructed view of the dial, hands, movement and pendulum. The U-shaped glazing is mitred and glued in one piece by specialists. The cornice and base are finished with metal inlays. The discreet magnet closure of the door eliminates the need for locking hooks.

The elegant appearance of the wall clock Opus Secunda M 130 from Erwin Sattler is characterized by an openwork dial that provides a view of the gold-plated gear wheels. The moon sphere placed in a funnel adds a special aesthetic touch. It is hand-painted in the manufactory with great attention to detail. With a maximum rate deviation of three to four seconds per month, the second pendulum clock is also a very precise timepiece. The weight running down the side allows for a power reserve of 30 days.

The fine gearing of the wheels and the mounting of all rotating parts in ball or jewel bearings guarantee a service life that lasts for generations. The small, temperature-related changes in length of the Superinvar pendulum rod are compensated for by a precisely calculated, freely movable compensation tube. To prevent major rate deviations caused by fluctuations in air pressure, a double-box instrument is attached to the pendulum. Sophisticated restraint and modern elegance combined in an irresistibly beautiful precision timepiece that takes up any space without imposing itself.
