THE PINNACLE OF TRADITIONAL CLOCKMAKING MEETS TIMELESS DESIGN. AN EXCLUSIVE WALL DECORATION FOR EVERY ROOM.
The attention to detail in its manufacture makes the wall clock Classica Secunda 1985 (black/walnut) from Erwin Sattler a functional and aesthetic object that will remain with its owners for a long time.
With a maximum rate deviation of one to two seconds per month, the pendulum clock is also a precise timepiece. The laterally running weight enables a power reserve of 30 days. The fine gearing of the wheels and the mounting of all rotating parts in ball or jewel bearings guarantee a service life spanning generations. The small, temperature-related changes in length of the Superinvar pendulum rod are compensated for by a precisely calculated, freely movable compensation tube.
The wall clock offer a glimpse of some of their fascinating secrets Classica Secunda 1985 (black/walnut) from Erwin Sattler through three bevelled glass panes. An additional pane in the roof allows light to enter or illuminate the movement from above. Its plates, movement pillars, anchor bridges and brackets, gear wheels, deflection rollers and chatons are milled and turned in small batches in the manufactory. Many components are finished by hand and gilded. The winding crank, fine adjustment weights and other accessories are hidden in a compartment in the base of the case.
