Description

Tellurium IV 23046-000352

The new Tellurium IV 23046-000352 from Hermle is a design that combines modern and classic in a decidedly futuristic form. A twisted rosette rondel with a laser-engraved depiction of the 12 signs of the zodiac, the month and the date, offers an exciting insight into the world of astronomy. Particularly outstanding is the solid dial milled especially for the clock with a view of the movement, which appears to float inside, surrounded by a glass cube.

The design piece from Hermle shows the Earth’s orbit around the sun once in a year, with the Earth rotating around itself once every 24 hours. At the same time, the moon orbits the earth once every 29 1/2 days, turning once on its own axis, so that the individual phases of the moon can be seen from the earth. The earth passes through the 12 signs of the zodiac, the months and days, which can be read on a flat dial. 8-day 4/4 Westminster strike train on four polished bells. Power-wound seconds, spring-wound, 11-jewel Swiss echappement, polished plates, automatic night shut-off of the strike train. Tellurium-Rotating arm with hands and depiction of the sun, moon and earth.
