Description

Table regulator

The table clock “Table Regulator” from Sinclair Harding presents itself as a particularly classic clock in a modern case. The combination of modern technology and traditional methods makes the product an eye-catching timepiece. The escapement is a Sinclair Harding modification of the double three-legged gravity escapement, the original design of which comes from Lord Grimethorpe and controls the great Westminster clock in London, better known as Big Ben.

The case is made of aluminium, polished and hard anodized and finally finished with Renaissance wax. The beveled glass doors, which open to the front and back, are 6 mm thick. The side panels are also finished to provide an interesting view of the movement.

The table clock “Table Regulator” has a very solid 8-day movement that is controlled by an unusual spherical pendulum with a “high Q” that strikes the half second.

The dial is in the Breguet style and features a large diameter for the seconds and a slim chapter ring. The hand-engraved and silver-plated dial is a highlight among the elegant designs and forms an attractive contrast to the diamond-shaped base plate.
