On this table clock “Sun & Moon Clock”, the panorama of the sky changes daily as in real life, sunshine and clouds during the day and the moon rising and setting every night. The unique thing about this clock from Sinclair Harding is that the moon goes through its phases in twenty-nine and a half days. In other words, it waxes and wanes in a highly realistic way.

The movement impresses with its visually light and graceful design with three hand-painted dials. One of the dials shows the sunrise and sunset, while the second represents the moon phase cycle. As a rule, most moon phase dials take twenty-nine and a half days to complete a cycle.

The seconds bezel features a cluster of stars, which elegantly merges with the swing of the pendulum. The movement has a power reserve of eight days and is equipped with a stop mechanism. This prevents the movement from overwinding.

The entire table clock “Sun & Moon Clock” from Sinclair Harding stands on a base of highly grained bird’s eye maple, walnut, rosewood or black French polished base. A platinum or gold finish is available on request.

The clock is housed in a beveled glass shade with a door at the front that can be opened to make it easier to wind without removing the glass shade. The adjustable feet make it easy to align the clock.
