Launched in 2009, the table clock “Rosemary” (GD) from Sinclair Harding is a scaled-down version of the Great Wheel skeleton clock. It has an integrated case and a base made of beveled crystals.
The pendulum is attached to a silk-like suspension, which allows both permanent attachment and temporary release. This makes the clock ideal for presentation ceremonies.
The plates can be shaped as desired within the limits of the gear train. It is also possible to add a personal engraving to the base. All parts, with the exception of the pallet, are made of either gold-plated or platinum-plated brass or stainless steel. This prevents tarnishing due to high humidity.
As with the skeleton clock with a large wheel, the main wheel has 288 teeth in the form of cycloids and makes only one revolution per day. The escapement is a “Graham Deadbeat” controlled by a “silk” suspension and an Invar pendulum. The movement is equipped with a Maltese cross stopwork to ensure the most precise timekeeping possible. The table clock “Rosemary” (GD) runs for a full eight days.
The Sinclair Harding brand stands for exclusive mechanical table clocks manufactured in England. The design is exceptionally filigree and the movement constructions can also be described as specific.
