Description
NT 11 RH
Classic timepiece interpreted in a modern way
With the NT 11 (RH) table clock from Matthias Naeschke, we have now adapted our proven principle of two separate drive weights to a table clock for the first time. This made it possible to develop a weekly runner with very compact dimensions. The decisive advantage of the weight drive is a constant drive torque from full winding to winding down – accompanied by very precise accuracy over the entire running time.
With weight clocks, the focus is always on the maximum possible drop height of the weight. In our table clock NT 11 (RH), the two weights are guided on two beautifully shaped arms at the top right and left of the movement, each via a pulley. The aim of this is to achieve maximum drop height. The size of the weights themselves also plays a decisive role in this timepiece. This is because we always attach great importance to achieving the lowest possible tolerances and friction losses in our clocks.
Impressive technology meets classic design
In addition to the technical refinements, the design also plays a decisive role. The NT 11 table clock from Matthias Naeschke is a total work of art combining impressive technology and classic design. A mixture that, in our opinion, fits very well into today’s world and looks very modern in the rhodium-plated version of the NT 11 table clock. In the skeleton clock version, nothing remains hidden. The observer can see every component of the movement and discover the meticulous attention we have paid to even the smallest detail.
ATTRACTIVE HOME ACCESSORY AND EXPRESSION OF TRADITIONAL AWARENESS
The highly polished base of the NT 11 (RH) table clock is made of cherry wood and inlaid with a stain specially developed for us. At first glance, the base appears completely black, but depending on the intensity of the light, the natural cherry wood grain is still visible through the clear varnish. An all-round thin metal strip and the four adjustable feet provide additional shiny accents. Clearly drawn Roman numerals on a matt silver-plated background, together with the blued steel hands, make the dial very easy to read.
A table clock like this is an attractive home accessory and an expression of a genuine sense of tradition. Friends of classic mechanics appreciate the ritual of placing the beautifully shaped winding key on the precisely fitting winding square and – accompanied by the gentle click of the click mechanism – winding the clock for the next seven days.
