Description

NL 125 GG

Gravity-driven precision pendulum clock

The 21-day 1 ¼ second precision pendulum clock NL 125 GG from Matthias Naeschke with free gravity escapement and center seconds is a clock that has never been seen before in this design, construction and quality. The authentic design proves that the development possibilities of mechanical precision clocks are far from exhausted.

The technical highlight of this clock is the extremely insensitive free escapement developed in-house. Four massive, circular ruby pallets inhibit the gear wheel without dynamic release problems. The power flow of the gear train with only two ratios or the ambient temperature have no influence.

Stylistic unity with technical finesse

Only the gravitational force of the earth acts on the two anchor arms and the two precisely adjustable impulse arms, thus ensuring a permanently constant amplitude of the compensation pendulum. This ideal case is the prerequisite for isochronism to turn a mechanical grandfather clock into a real precision clock.

The highly polished movement forms a stylistic unit together with the solid sterling silver chapter ring, the blued hands and an elegantly darkened cherry wood case with fine inlays and silver stripes.

The aesthetics of this grandfather clocks convey a sense of harmony. At 1.77 m, the extra-long pendulum swings sublimely and soothingly. With its leisurely ticking, the NL 125 GG grandfather clock creates a decelerated feel-good atmosphere and an oasis of calm – for the highest quality of living and life.
