Finest quality, timeless elegance, highest precision – Matthias Naeschke clocks.

The top maxim of the clock manufacturer Matthias Naeschke is to build the best living room clocks. Since 1984, the company has been producing high-quality grandfather clocks, table clocks, regulators and, uniquely in the world, flute clocks and organ clocks. The strength of this traditional company is the precision craftsmanship of its production, the extremely high level of vertical integration and the realization of new ideas in classic clockmaking.

Matthias Naeschke (born in 1943) is a trained clockmaker, clock technician and church musician. He worked for several years in the ateliers of the best clock houses in Switzerland and England. After studying engineering, he developed and designed mechanical movements for various industrial companies. Handcrafted watch production was practically extinct at the time.

In 1984, Matthias Naeschke – alongside his work as a design engineer in a large industrial company – began to revive a craft that had been extinct for over 150 years with a small series of just ten flute clocks. As a clock designer and passionate musician and organ builder, he was able to combine all his skills in the flute clock.

Every year, new living room clocks and thoughts come onto the market from the Matthias Naeschke ideas factory. The primary goal of Matthias Naeschke is to further develop the classic craft of clockmaking and to explore the physical limits of mechanics. Time and again, he, his son Sebastian and a select team of specialists prove that the development possibilities of classic clockmaking are far from exhausted.
